ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. today announced the acquisition of The Jack Nebel Companies, Inc., based in North Barrington, Illinois. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Jack Nebel Companies, a wholesale commercial insurance broker and managing general agency (MGA), serves independent retail agents and brokers across the Midwestern United States. It offers a variety of property/casualty coverages, with a primary focus on general contractors, artisan contractors, apartments, mixed-use properties and vacant buildings. Jack Nebel, Brian Nebel and their associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Joel Cavaness, President of Risk Placement Services, Inc. (RPS), Gallagher's wholesale broker and MGA.
