ITASCA, Ill., March 14, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. today announced the acquisition of The Producer's Choice, Inc. of Coral Springs, Florida. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1992, The Producer's Choice, Inc. (TPC) is a managing general agency and wholesale life insurance broker specializing in large case management, advanced sales support and substandard or hard-to-place cases. Eugene Rice and his associates will continue to operate out of their current location under the direction of James Durkin, President of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
