Gallagher Unveils New Financial & Retirement Services Practice
Integrated Financial Wellbeing Solutions will Help Employers Attract, Retain and Engage Top Talent, Optimize Investment Portfolios and Support Overall Organizational Wellbeing

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Financial wellbeing is essential to overall employee and organizational health. To help employers achieve optimized organizational wellbeing, Gallagher has created a unified consulting practice focused on delivering group and individual financial wellbeing solutions. Gallagher's new Financial & Retirement Services practice will enable easy accessibility to the unique skill sets of renowned experts who are critical to achieving successful retirement planning, sophisticated investment solutions, independent fiduciary services, actuarial consulting services, executive benefit retention programs and individual life insurance needs.


Financial stresses in particular are having a significant impact on the workforce. According to Gallagher's 2018 Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey, more than six out of ten employers (62 percent) are addressing the negative affect of financial stress on productivity by providing employees with access to financial advisors and nearly half (47 percent) provide financial-literacy education to help employees make better saving and spending decisions.

Jeff Leonard, FSA, EA, CFA®, will lead the practice as North America Financial & Retirement Services Leader. Mr. Leonard joined Gallagher's Institutional Investment & Fiduciary Services practice (legal entity Gallagher Fiduciary Advisors, LLC) in 2017. With over 30 years of consulting business experience, Mr. Leonard most recently held leadership roles with other financial advisory firms.

The specialty practice leadership team includes Dean Clune, Retirement Plan Consulting; Rich Brock, Executive Benefits Consulting; Michael Johnson, Investment & Fiduciary Consulting; and business unit leaders Malcolm Sklar, Luke Kaplan, and Stan Matus for Individual Life & Wealth components.
